I started off really worried about whether my topic would be too general or if it would even make sense! However, when I began writing I felt much more comfortable about it. Writing papers is always a process that’s unpredictable for me. While last semester’s papers were very structured, this semester I returned to my way of writing (without outlines), and added some extra things. I feel that with every college English course that I take, I find new ways to improve, and realize that every paper is different and requires a different approach. Some might require an outline, while some are best by just letting your thoughts spill unto the paper. Then go back and make sure the paper isn’t an unorganized and confused one.
As I revise I will try to keep a look out for repetitiveness. I dislike repeating myself so much, and I avoid it whenever possible. I rather not write the full 5-7 pages than repeat myself. I’m actually a little excited about starting my digital project (yes it’s May 4th and I haven’t officially started—I am a chronic procrastinator). I have plenty of ideas that just require precise execution. That is my biggest struggle at the moment. Anyone good at editing? Or even directing? =]
