Food poisoning….Brooklyn Bridge

Due to my regrettable laziness yesterday morning, I experienced the wonderful symptoms of food poisoning. I was too lazy to make myself a sandwich, and I had decided I would buy something to eat close to the school if I got hungry. Right after our class ended, I was on my way to buy a blueberry muffin when I decided I had had too many muffins lately, and that instead I should save a dollar and buy a greasy slice of $1 pizza at Mike’s Pizza.

Big mistake. About 3 hours later, towards the end of my last class, I began to feel bloated, cramps, very fatigued, and other horrible things. I hurried home (as much as one can hurry from Baruch to New Jersey), took a shower in hopes that I would feel better, and went to sleep. My mom insisted I drink milk so that all that junk would leave my system, if you know what I mean, but it did nothing. I woke up in the morning feeling horribly fatigued and nauseous. It is now 2:20PM and I can barely think about anything school-related, which explains my long post about my food poisoning. This is the second time in less than two years that I get food poisoning in New York. Why do things like this happen? I don’t wanna dislike the city any more than I already do, but that’s inevitable.

How does this all relate to class? Well, right now I’m feeling like Theroux. Oh, and I admit I’ve never been to Brooklyn Bridge. I know, I know, I’m not a real New Yorker. I was supposed to go with my last semester’s communications class, but hurricanes happened and well, that plan was ruined. I’ve heard great things about the bridge, not just from class, but from other fellow students. I want to go, but right now all I can think about is how much I don’t want to go to school tomorrow. Wish me health. 🙁
