The Author

Amanda Dawson was born and raised as a young child in the East Village. After attending high school in Europe she returned to the neighborhood she knows best as a young woman and began working in tattoo shops on St. Mark’s Place as a receptionist, where she got to know the block on a very uniquely intimate level. After spending the last eight years as a bartender, Dawson has enrolled at Baruch College with the intention of attending the Zicklin School of Business for her C.P.A.
