Baruch’s Fashion Club, Fashion At Baruch, or FAB, which is a very fitting acronym, serves to assist students interested in a career involving the fashion industry. Every now and then, FAB hosts events to attract students willing to participate in fashion-related activities. Last week, on Thursday, October 17, FAB hosted an event called the Red Tag Scavenger Hunt, also sponsored by Macy’s, with Macy’s gift-cards rewarded as prizes. Those who attended were divided into groups of 4 and given a set of clues to find 16 hidden red tags throughout the Newman Vertical Building. The members of the first four groups to find the most red tags each won gift cards. This was a great way to get students interested in fashion, especially with the gift-cards. Now let’s hope they make good use of those cards!
