Revising Attitudes

When I think of revising my work, I think that I have to reread everything and make changes to it. I don’t really like  revising because I’m not sure of how  to do it so I never want to do it. I’ve had to revise a lot of things for school so the process is always the same. The only thing I gain is maybe making my paper better  I think when you proofread and edit, you’re fixing mistakes like spelling or grammar. And revising is when you read it over and see if it’s good or if it needs to add or take things out. I think that Brock Dethier’s piece was good. It had a lot of examples to show how revising helps. And it was easy to read. The resistances to revising that I agree with are numbers 6 and 8. I never know what to do when I have to revise and when other people revise my work, and add a lot of comments, I feel like my work isn’t good enough and that I have to start all over.
