William Shakespeare’s Othello is a play of tragic love. What starts out as a happy marriage for the main character Othello completely turns around and leads both him and his wife Desdemona to their deaths seemingly only in a matter of days. While starting out as a play, this story has also been given film adaptations showing its great popularity. by looking at this play both in-depth and from different mediums, we can more deeply understand the story “Othello”
