Once a pair, now a solo act, Long Island’s own Marissa Farina has emerged as one of today’s most prominent gay figures within the ever growing world of YouTube. Her videos have attracted over 64,000 subscribers to date with 6.3 million video views and she has produced over 100 videos covering every sort of queer topic imaginable. Icon is the latest gay addition to Astoria. Located on 31-84 33rd Street just two blocks from the N/Q, Broadway subway station.

Arielle Scarcella is a YouTube personality with over 350,000 viewers across two channels. She’s been a dedicated voice to the LGBT community for over 5 years. Although very comedic, her work as always had an undertone of self-love and reflection. The notion that “laughter is the best medicine” is something Arielle adheres to in her videos.  Arielle has been successful in using her creativity to make us laugh and by doing so she talks about relevant topics that matter to our community and can empowers us all.  She’s opening up her life to the world and is taking us along for the ride one video at a time.

It’s Big, It’s Gay – It’s Ice Cream !

Douglas Quint, an out and proud gay man, opened his first ice cream truck on a whim one summer seven years ago, deciding to shake up the traditional soft-serve scene by offering gourmet toppings combined in creative ways.
