Kabuliwala made me better understand that we are so much alike then we liked to admit. The story was interesting in how they have different the characters are however at the end they all become connected. With Abdur, Rahman, and Mini they all have different characteristics however at the end their differences are what makes them similar.I also found it interesting that the story jumpes from different times instead of being set in one time period. Something that also spoke out to me is how something so mundane such as a fruit seller can have such a deep meaning to it.

I agree with how no matter what differences we have are still all human in the end. After Rahamat was sent to jail, the narrator only thought of him as a murderer and soon forgot about him. Even when he returned, the narrator still only saw him as a murderer, until he found out that he had a daughter just like him, and he that he loved her just as much as the narrator loves Mini.
