Project 1: “Light”
Artist Statement
“Light” explores the object of and mediums for light. From the evolution of light, and its interaction with human beings, to its constant changing nature, light has always been intriguing to capture. Through this work, I hope to dissect light through the sharp contrasts and the highlighted examples of light. Ambient sound put the focus on light and technology, while making sure that the visuals are the main focus of the piece. “Light” is often taken for granted, but through this piece, I hope to create an appreciation and better understanding of light in our lives.
