The aesthetic provided by After Effects was an interesting one. Thus far, there have been a very sharp transition between shots with only one opportunity in each. Now, there was potential for a blending of various elements into one. Seeing as how Tokyo and New York City are quite similar as commerce cities, the idea to blend them together in not-so-obvious ways came about. At first, it was difficult to seamlessly weave an aesthetic that did not come off hastily made. After Effects provided a means of bringing in New York City to Japan, and vice versa. Different elements such as transportation, buildings, and people were mixed together. The final step was the sound and composition of the film project as a whole package. A blend of various sounds a tourist would hear, in either city, was an idea that sparked the message and tone of this project. Tokyo, Japan and New York City: JAPONYA.
