Anthony Exhausted Final Statement

The final project for Video 1 created a unique opportunity to combine my outside physical artistic experiments with this new media arts class.  Presently I am working on my dremel skills with wood carving and shaping alongside digital manipulation.  Flora recreation in different mediums is a side passion of mine which motivated this project.  Truly combining my wood carving with video capturing and using after effects opened up the possibilities for what could be accomplished.  Carving out flowers then animating the bloom of five different species was amazing to me.  Of course adding my own personal touch and comedic choices that are present in all of my projects this semester.  Waving to a blue bird passerby and an out of place animated flower that I shoed away.  Honestly the final project was the hardest and funnest piece I have worked on.  Regretting only the length of the piece.  Although extending over six minutes, within the required length, I could have definitely expanded this project to around ten minutes and have something really cool.  Still enjoying what I have created to the fullest because I had fun.
