Ho’Brah: A prelude to describing something intense or amazing.
Living in Brooklyn but wish you were at the beach?
In the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, you can find your outlet away from the busy city at Ho’brah. Four years ago, the once fish market became the prime location to eat tacos. Today, Hob’rah has gotten so much attention in the press including sites like the Wall Street Journal. The restaurant is also reaching out to their customers through social media using apps like Instagram.

How would you describe Ho’brah?
“We market Ho’brah to be a California inspired surf taco joint,” said Vastola. “It’s a great hang. It’s a place where you go to have a drink, some tacos and a good time.”
What do you want your customers to get out of their experience at Ho’brah?
“You want your customers to have a fun experience that makes them want to come back,” said Vastola. “When you have your regular customers that come back and have a relationship with you inside and even outside of the restaurant, I think that’s what makes a difference. Ho’brah is a family business and I think that is pretty special.”
Where do you see Ho’brah going in the future?
“We’re looking at different locations now to expand even further,” said Vastola. ” We’re looking for the best spot with the best opportunity which also serves Ho’brah and our growth plan going foward.”
What makes Ho’brah different then other restaurants?
“I think what sets us apart is our people,” said Vastola. ” Our people are amazing. They do a great job at promoting Ho’brah everyday. They create such a great customer service experience that makes our customers want to come back and be apart of that. It makes them want to take a moment and just get away and just have a taco. We treat our customers like family and we take pride in that.”
