Terrence Martell

Martell BlogDr. Terrence F. Martell is the director of the Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College where he is also the Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance. His educational background includes receiving his BA in Economics from Iona College and his Ph.D. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. As director of the Weissman Center, he oversees a myriad of international programs and projects. However, his particular area of expertise is international commodity markets. He is a director of IntercontinentalExchange, which is listed on the NYSE, and also serves as the chair of IntercontinentalExchange’s Risk Committee. He is vice chair of ICE Futures U.S., the domestic regulated futures exchange of ICE, and is chairman of ICE Clear US. In addition, he is chair of the Baruch Faculty Senate and is a trustee of the City University of New York and serves on its Fiscal, Audit, and Investment Committees.
