I’m  really happy to get more familiar with the 3D Digital Design because  I am always curious about new technologies. This class was a great opportunity for me to learn and work in three dimensional space. By learning how to create and design objects in Sketch Up I experimented and got experience as an artist in using higher technology and it helped me to grow professionally. I usually draw designs on sketch paper and now I know how to do it in 3 dimensional space on the computer and see the object from any angle, which is very useful for me. However, I need a little more practice to advance my skills. Printing your own designed objects is a great pleasure. It was not easy to get used to 3D and control the size of the objects. When I was trying to find the cost of the printing of my designs it was really expensive. A few times I couldn’t upload my designs to printing websites because I had some small mistakes in the sketches and I had to fix them. It takes time to get used to drawing on the computer. Designing objects in 3D is almost like engineering. Working in 3D is very challenging and a good experience for me. Working in this class has opened a new door for my future career. I can always find some work in 3D printing design and manufacturing. I also learned how to work in a team and work on developing the team idea, which was a lot of fun!
