One reason why Williams enlisted in the army was her adventurous spirits. As she mentioned, she was a rebel not only from her blood, but also from her early experience. She was willing to venture and take risks since she was little since she played with fire and take risks for fear of fire herself. She was treated toughly by her father while having some complicated family relationships. Williams was building up her rebellious mind during her early life. She was vigorous and aggressive in school. After encountering some finical problems, she became tougher. Having affected by her mother, she started practicing shooting a gun. She transferred to public school and started to play punk music. All the experience and changes happened in her early life made her a rebellious, strong and outstanding woman, which led her to join the army.
