While looking at the different monuments that I saw at Madison Square Park. I noticed one that caught my attention. I was a statue of a man named David Glasgow Farragut. He was a flag officer of the United States Navy during the Civil War. He was the first rear admiral, vice admiral, and admiral in the Navy.

I like monuments like these, highlighting important figures in History that may not be the most well-known.
