Narrative of Metacognition

The Asimvo essay was about how someone’s intelligence is divided into multiple technical skills and isn’t just based on academic smarts. Intelligence can be described in many ways, but it isn’t only book smarts. The way I see it I think Intelligence is based on how much knowledge someone knows on multiple subjects and topics. So based on my definition, I think some of my strengths are dedication to things I set my mind to, Perseverance on difficult tasks, and my love for communicating with people. My interests include Bike riding, Playing card games, watching anime, and debating with people. As for my talents, I find it easy to talk with people.

My Intelligence survey results were Bodily/Kinesthetic and Logical/Mathematical both ranked third, Intrapersonal ranked second, and Interpersonal being my first. I believe that these results are surprisingly accurate, especially with my third rank. The 4 intelligences I got are comparable to my strengths, interests, and talents from the previous text because they are almost 100% accurate. My Bodily/Kinesthetic and Logical/Mathematical are associated with my love for biking and interest in debating with people which often leads to logical reasoning. My second is Intrapersonal which relates to my strengths of dedication and perseverance. Lastly Interpersonal relates to me finding it easy to communicate with people and my love for talking with people.

  1. I like how the survey gave you almost insanely accurate results. I feel that my results were pretty accurate but not as accurate as I thought they would be only because I feel that I am a person who usually changes my mind a lot about things so it’s usually hard to accurate results on surveys like these.
