For our next meeting, be sure to complete the précis assignment that I handed out to you in our individual conferences (available here too). This assignment will not be graded but it is required. If you don’t bring it to class on Monday, you’ll be marked absent. So be sure to do it. You can handwrite or print it.

As I mentioned, you don’t have to find a new source to complete this assignment. Often times we skim over our sources and miss important details. You can use this assignment as an opportunity to dig deeper into a source you’ve already used. Or, you can find a new source instead. Remember that you can use the library’s “ask a librarian” function (lower left-hand side) for help if you’re stuck. And always feel free to ask me questions if you have them.
