The Future for 3D Food Printing

My primary interest for this research will be the effects of 3D printing of food on other cultures and at home. Once 3D printing becomes more accessible to modern day families, it could have a tremendous effect on the culinary culture. Almost anyone can download a template and print out any type of cuisine without having to leave his or her home. That could severely hurt the sales and income for culinary institutions.

I plan on doing a short animation regarding the affect of 3D printable food on traditionally prepared cuisine. After researching the effects of 3D printed food, I will choose a side to support in the animation. The animation style will be family friendly and will be entertaining for all viewers.

Research/Survey others on how people feel about 3D printing

Research using second hand sources on the internet to further support either for 3D printing or traditional food.

Create models/sketches for the rough draft animation

Step 4:
Continue on Step 3 and apply animation and movement to models and sketches

Finish Animation
