For this final work, I’ve decided to create how an app would look like in an airplane where the food is 3D printed. This portrait my research on 3D food prices and it also gives me an idea of how can this work out in the future. I also made a drawing of where the tablet would be located.

This method of having a tablet on every seat its not that economic. The airline would need a lot of money to purchase these items. There will also be a bottom where the passenger can ask for any help regarding the menu or question. Another Idea that I had was to have a single 3D machine in front of the passenger so they can see how their food is being printed.

Even though this idea is not convenient at all because it will required tons of machines and also money to buy them, but it is not impossible. According to BBC news the basic version will cost about $5,000 and the more advanced one double that price, so to have enough machines for every seat it will come up to a enormous number.

This two pictures are the how the app would look once the passenger has their tablet.

These next two pictures shows how the table will be located behind every seat and also shows how and where the machine will be located if every seat had one. I think these ideas are too extreme, but I’m sure in the future this can be possible.
