Meanwhile, in the Real World…

There were so many different works of art at the Museum of Modern Art that I felt could have pertained to the assignment in class, but there were two that stuck out to me the most. The first thing that caught my eye was the Kinematics Dress. This is a 3D printed dress made of laser-sintered nylon by Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg. The second thing that sparked my interest was the Technological Dream Series No. 1, Robots project. These four robots are made out of different materials and all have certain personalities per say.  It caught my attention when I saw the objects and their shapes. It reminded me of a project I did for my first New Media Arts class when I used basic shapes to portray emotion due to my lack of skill in the program we were using.IMG_6072
