Advanced Multimedia Reporting 2019

Here are some things to keep in mind:

1. I still have a lot of editing to do in terms of narration and adding interviews
2. I will shoot more footage in terms of Joe going outside to make a bank deposit.
3. I need to add stabilizers to some shots and trim others so they don’t appear blurry.
4. I need to add name plates that introduce new people.

This is just some of the footage I have so far. I’m planning to go out and get more of a variety and I have the sit down interview scheduled for this weekend. I’m hoping after that I will have a better idea about how to piece this together.

A couple things before watching:

1. I’m not sure  I put quotes in an order that makes sense to everyone. I’m still playing around with them.
2. I need a LOT more B-roll.
3. I decided to film outdoors, which was a mistake because of the wind and birds. I hope it’s not too distracting.
4. I’m trying to come up with visuals to show while my interviewee is speaking. I have too much footage of protests and am trying to get creative with symbols but can’t think of much.

Hello all. Here is a rough look at what my doc may look like. I have a lot more footage + interview + b-roll and I don’t even know how I’m going to sequence the documentary, but nevertheless, enjoy!

I need a lot more b-roll, which is why this video is mostly interview. I have some other things I want to incorporate and plan on going back out to shoot over break. This is what I have so far, though.

I still need to get more footage of the dynamic of the pizzeria since not many people showed up the day I filmed.

 

 

We are still in the middle of shooting, interviewing and getting everything together for our documentary about The Ticker! We need more footage from the weekly meetings but most of the team isn’t on production today because of Spring Break. We will be conducting more interviews/ filming post Spring Break. Once we have more efficient interviews we will add that to the rough cut. We have some great B-Roll but need more expansive shots of talking and the members of the Ticker.
