Week 8

In my internship I worked on some marketing stuff such as assigning lead to salespeople as well as updating the content on the website. We launched our new website over the weekend and I spent time navigating through the website to make sure everything was working properly without flaws. Also I started working on an infographic about our product’s new feature. Furthermore, I updated the content of one of our whitepapers.

For my website, I started adding some of my portfolio in my page. Also I started experimenting on a new website with a Parallax scrolling effect. It is a single page website that has a scrolling effect. This is the most common style of website layout I have noticed lately. I wanted to see how it would look and actually, I really like it. I think I prefer it to my previous website style. Plus, the coding looks a lot cleaner as well since I’m only using one html page and one css page.

For my independent study, I was experimenting with different types of characters that would go well with the rest of the logo. With that, I also started putting together preliminary design for my business card, letterhead and envelope.
