Studio Exercise 1- 3D Models
This was the first block i have ever made on SketchUp. I thought it was fairly simple and easy creating this block. However, there is always something that gets in my way. I ended up making the whole block six feet long instead of six inches long. With a few practices, I finally got the measurements correct.
I created this throne with my building block.It looks decent although I know I can create something more interesting! The hardest part of this assignment is getting the pieces on the right spot. Orbiting is a main component of SketchUp. I would advise using this tool.
I created another 3D structure using different building blocks. This one is called the Futuristic Building. I used half circles and arches to create this building. it looks simple and nothing complicated. Once again, orbiting is crucial because the objects can be placed differently.
