Welcome back to another post with yours truly, Sanjit ” I wish there was a South Asian Power Ranger I could idolize” Gill. Recently, my group and I completed the presentation and proposal form for the Community Service project and it’s really taught me a lot about all the yet untapped reservoir of opportunities for guidance and expert help at Baruch. I hope that made sense, it was my attempt to sound really fancy. The writing center, for instance, is a great place to get help expanding on ideas and putting things down in words.
I have joined a group called BaruchTV which will probably make up a big part of my college experience. It’s a new group/club/I have no idea what it is exactly, but the idea is to increase awareness of all things Baruch has to offer and increase school morale. I’m really optimistic about the group even though it just started and had only one meeting of only 4 kids but hey, slowly but surely. I’m really optimistic about the group because it’ll enable me to meet many people from all sorts of clubs. I hope BaruchTV really takes off.
As far as where I see myself in three years, I have no idea and I can’t even begin to speculate. I have an idea about majoring in Finance but then again, I’ve changed my mind about five times in the last month, so don’t hold me to Finance. I would love to work and take internships all over the place, and not just within the business and financial sectors. Maybe volunteer time at the Botanical Gardens, that sounds really relaxing. I just really want to take my college experience one small step at a time and see where I end up instead of sticking to a strict plan. I’m not really one for plans. That might hurt my GPA.
Till next time.
