Skill Levels
It is crucial to understand at what level you are as an artisan bread baker. Our purpose is to give you a friendly guide on how to progress in bread baking. If you are new to the baking world, start off by browsing the “Bread 101” tab. I give you some common misconceptions of bread baking and if you go into the kitchen being aware of these, you become a more competent baker. Also, I add a list of benefits of making your own bread and how to make your bread last longer.
Next, start off your journey at the the “Step 1: Beginners” tab. Continue your way to Step 3.
I imagine most of you have undergone this scenario: you download a new game on the app store and instead of starting out as a beginner, go to the intermediate or expert levels to spice the game up a bit. I absolutely don’t recommend this course of action in baking! If you try a recipe that is way more ambitious than you can handle, you will feel discouraged to try again. At Breadology, we don’t want to create discouraged bakers; we want to create confident and inspired bakers. See you in the kitchen soon!
Sincerely,
Xena Gonzalez (Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Breadology)
