Being a college student isn’t easy. But being a college student who’s in the process of launching a swim line, preparing to move into a new apartment, while creating future in finance and staying fashionably dressed for all of this, has to be even harder. Fortunately, McKenzie Barnes, Baruch freshmen, has no problem doing any of it. Down below we rock through the day with her from sun up to way after sundown. 9:00AM Hit’s snooze on my iPhone alarm.
9:05AM Hit’s snooze again.
9:20AM Comes to terms with the fact that class starts within the hour and drags self out of bed.
10:30AM Grabs a Caramel Latte from Starbucks.
10:35AM Checks Instagram feed and posts photos from the night before.
11:00AM Sit’s through Biology 1001 and doodles on the back of notebook.
12:00PM Runs home to change for a business meeting with my sister about Ten Swim. With the it’s official launch only weeks away, it’s crunch time.
12:20PM Running late. Honestly who wants to catch a train in heels.
12:40PM Arrive at Catch NYC, just as my sister walks up the block. Perfect timing.
1:05PM Discussing Ten Swim samples as my King Crab Roll arrives at the table. Yum.
3:24PM Thank God I bought my sneakers in my bag. At Target adulting for my new apartment.
5:15PM Unpacking the goodies from Target. Going with a black and white them for my new place.
6:24PM On the train with my roommate, headed to our favorite place to hang, Black Tap.
7:00PM Received e-mail from the package room in the dorms. My Ten Swim sample pieces are finally here!!!
8:24PM Trying on the samples. I’m in love with this olive colored two piece.
9:12PM Updates Ten Swim Instagram with photos of new samples.
11:52PM Falling asleep while cramming for a test.
12:04AM Throws in the towel with studying and gives into Netflix. Goodnight.
