Sample Assignment Sequence for English 2150

This teaching material was developed as a result of the CUNY 1969 Teach-in & Retreat that took place in Summer 2022. The assignment asks students to engage in a series of individual and group activities leading up to building a final ‘call to action’ artifact.

Faculty Information

Mary Gryctko teaches First-Year Writing at Baruch College. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on the idealization of dead and dying children in Victorian century literature and culture, and on the use of the figure of the child in eugenicist medical science.
