Advocating For My Five Demands

Developed by Judith Konamah, Baruch College

This teaching material was developed as a result of the CUNY 1969 Teach-in & Retreat that took place in Summer 2024. The assignment asks students to update the 5 demands to include what is relevant to their communities today and create a presentation on how they would go about advocating for these demands with the help of past advocates.

Faculty Information

Judith Konamah is a SEEK Advisor at Baruch College and a therapist at Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center. She earned her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. She teaches First Year Seminar for incoming SEEK students and engages in one-on-one advising sessions with them. She also works as an individual therapist with people of all ages.
