When I was young I didn’t have a favorite toy. I would easily get bored with one toy and move on to the next one and the cycle would continue endlessly. Thinking about it now, I guess it was because I didn’t get some real benefit out of it. The toys weren’t of my own creation and lacked the appreciative value of making them myself. My mom did mention however that I enjoyed building things out of legos instead. Honestly, I don’t recall my memories of these lego factories but I do remember building one in particular; my very first one. My parents were watching tv and I was so bored because I could not use my PlayStation (yea the first gen ha!). So I started playing with my legos and found myself boxing things together into a windmill. It looked something like this:

Don’t ask me why a windmill cause I have no clue. It wasn’t a predetermined idea either, it was something that came to fruition as I was putting the blocks on top of each other. My parents were so impressed that they thought I was a genius, too bad that that is further away from the truth…Anyhow it was just my creative process at the time. Sometimes you just have to start building without knowing exactly what you’re building right? 😅
Moving on! You know, this drawing doesn’t really do justice to how the windmill looked, as you can see my drawing skills are quite questionable. I’m going to try to attempt to turn this 2D model into a 3D version using TinkerCad and see what comes out of that.
Check out my next post for the results!
