This would lower the concussion rates because players don’t want to get fined or suspended. They either want to get paid or help their team win. This would mean less helmet to helmet hits in football games.
The settlement would provide the money for needy players and avoid potential claims and legal action in the future. It will also encourage other leagues like the NBA to get ahead of this as well.
