Ingredients
2 tbl spoon olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 pound of ground beef ( 85% lean & 15% fat)
1 small can of tomato paste(any brand works)
1 can of tomato sauce(16 oz)
1 pack of spaghetti(any time or brand works)
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of salt
half piece of green pepper chopped into small pieces
1 tbl spoon of chopped basil
1 tbl spoon of grated parmigiano cheese
step 1:
Heat oil in a medium pan over medium-high, once the oil is hot, add the minced beef, pepper and garlic, let it cook for about 6 minutes then add tomato paste, stir for a minute and then add tomato sauce, some chopped green pepper and salt. Add 8 ounces of water or more to reach desired consistency. Stir and reduce heat to medium-low and close with a lid, let it cook for 15 minutes.
Step 2:
In a separate cooking pot, bring water to boil and add the spaghetti over a medium -high. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt to avoid the spaghetti from sticking together. let the spaghetti cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3:
once spaghetti is cook, drain the water, serve on a plate and add your bolognese sauce on top, sprinkle some grated Parmigiano cheese on top.
