- This article was helpful in my argument of proving that women who have have higher up jobs suffer from a bigger wage gap. The more higher up the job, the higher difference. The difference is significant when both genders are working the same job. 2. This article helped me prove that women of color and minorities earn a lot less than white women/ men. Minorities earn about 58% of a man’s salary and women of color earn about 67%. It also shows the discrimination of women with children and how they are treated in the working environment.

3. This book is helpful to my research because it shows the impact of minorities and women of color have due to the wage gap. one of the impacts the wage gap has on them is poverty. This has a huge impact on them because they struggle to get out of poverty.
