  1. To be honest, I don’t recall ever writing a research paper other than a little one in high school. I am familiar with research papers. We generally choose a topic and conduct research on it. One of the things I appreciate about a research paper is that it’s like an adventure where you learn stuff you didn’t know before. Something that resonates with me is that we learn a lot of knowledge from research articles, which we both need and enjoy. However, my total understanding of research publications is limited.

    • Johir, you seem to have a good attitude toward engaging in this process of writing a research paper. It’s good to think of the process as “an adventure” and it’s also good to be willing and open to learning something in the process.

  2. I’m not familiar with research papers because I don’t seem to have written research papers. I don’t hate the process of writing, but occasionally I enter a period of confusion while writing. Sometimes I don’t know that my essay will digress, but I am still very happy to finish my essay. What this resonates with is that when doing research papers, I will learn all kinds of knowledge in it, so I should like this.

  3. I remembered writing a research paper during my 8th grade, and the topic was decided by myself. I don’t dislike or like the process of writing it because it was a required assignment to complete, but since the topic was choosing by myself, I found to learn new information that was interesting during the process. Some practical tip would be before deciding what to write, choose a topic that you are Interesting in and search out the background information, and then decide your thesis.
