  1. For my final paper, I plan to research climate change. My guiding question is: how should the world address the problem of climate change? My guiding question is subject to change.

  2. For my final paper, I am going to research about college tuition, and the guide questions are:

    1. How college tuition affect when it comes to applying a college?
    2. Is there programs to assist students with their financial loan? Are these programs enough to cover what a regular undergraduate need?
    3. Why some colleges have ridiculous tuition?
    4. What can government do to assist college students?
    5. Are college tuition even necessary?

  3. For my final paper, I am going to research ways to reduce taxes in small businesses?
    1) What are new ways to reduce the taxes?
    2) What kind of employee can reduce the tax (full-time or part-time)?
    3) Travel expenses?

  4. For my final paper, I am going to research global warming. My guiding questions are: (1) When does global warming start? (2) What causes global warming? (3) What issues will global warming lead to? (4) Does global warming really affect our daily lives? (4) How to stop or slow down global warming?

    1.How high is the shooting rate in the United States?
    2.Will restricting access to guns reduce gun violence?

  6. For my final paper, I am going to research about social media. My guiding questions are 1. How social media affects our communication in real life. 2. How social media affect our mental health. 3. Negative impact that social media bring to us.

  7. For the final paper, the topic that I found interesting to research on is, “Should Colleges Use Admissions Criteria Other Than SAT Scores and Grades?” The guiding questions that connects to the question are,
    1)Should other admission criteria be based on affirmative action?


    2) Are SAT scores or grades the best indicators of who will be successful and admitted in college?

    3) Should other options have less requirements but more work ethic? In Bard College, an option was introduced instead of admitting SAT scores and grades was one just needs to be smart, curious and motivated, and prove it with words — 10,000 words, in the form of four, 2,500-word research papers.

  8. For the final paper, I am going to do research on animal testing. The guiding questions are:
    1) Are cosmetics still being tested on animals?
    2) What happens to research animals once the experiment is completed?
    3) Why can’t alternatives such as computer models and cell cultures replace animal research?

    1) why people should invest in cryptocurrency?
    2) why people shouldn’t invest in cryptocurrency?

    • For the final paper, I’m going to do research on exercise.
      The guiding questions are:
      1) What are the benefits of exercising?
      2) How does exercising affect (physically and mentally) our body?
      3) What are the dangerous of over exercising? What affects does that have on our body?

    3. Would social media misleading student’s mindset?

    • I am interested in learning about what you find, Talha. I’m not sure what “against” means, but I wouldn’t decide your stance before you do the research.

    4. How long has this been going on?
    5. Are they any laws that help protect children in different countries?
    6. What are the typical age range of child labor and trafficking?
