Your cover letter, which is due with the final draft of your research paper, should describe all of the major changes you made to your paper and why you made those changes.  Try to focus on what you think are the most significant additions or revisions.  You cover letter does not need to be long.  It should be roughly one page (single- or double-spaced).  You can include it with your research paper as the first page of the document or as a separate document.
