I had dropped in the marathon reading of Frankenstein from 11:35-12:00 after class before my midterm. The reading had helped clear my mind before my exam through the one chapter we had read in the span of 30 minutes (Chapter 6-7). I had attended The Castle and Poetry reading last semester, but the marathon reading was unique. When you first step in the event coordinator will help situate you with a book and the current section the reader is on. After that you have an opportunity to participate in reading if you wish to, this is your own choice and you aren’t forced to read. Overall, it was a great experience as you could drop in and out whenever and get right on track, as well as read for however long you wished.
