Introduction

Hello, my name is Earvina Etienne. I recently transferred from Laguardia Community college. I did two years at Laguardia and I am currently majoring in psychology, I am also currently a junior. My intended profession is to be a social worker, specifically to help families and children. Growing up I always had an interest in helping others, most likely to due to the influence of my parents. My parents would constantly help others around them which  influenced me greatly. I Grew up mostly in Brooklyn new york, where I also attended all my years of schooling. I Am the eldest out of 2 siblings and I am also the only girl. My nationality is Haitian American, both of my parents are Haitian immigrants. I also grew up heavily on Haitian culture.
Some of the interest that I have is  drawing. Most specifically I like sketching  fashion and  faces. I began having an interest in drawing when I was younger because it helped me so much with coping with stress. When I draw I don’t think of anything, my mind is clear and I am 100 % focusing on what I draw. Another interest I have is music. I am a big music lover, I love all types of genre especially hip hop ,jazz ,Caribbean music, movie soundtracks ,etc. Music is also another stress reliever for me, and it’s also inspirational. Music for me is everything, I often attended music concerts and I also play the guitar. I’ve been playing the guitar since sophomore of high school but due to school taking most of my time I’ve been on and off for a couple of years.

Hi! My name is Chris Colavito and i am a junior. I am 23 years old and I transferred to Baruch this semester to pursue a degree in Finance. I live in Levittown out on Long Island, and transferred out from Nassau Community College. In my early college life i was very unsure of myself and decided to take what in my opinion was the easy way out and go for a criminal justice. After being accepted in the Department of Corrections academy i realized that the field was not for me and that i should chase my real dreams in finance and in particular Investment banking. What better more cost efficient school than Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business? Although i commute out from Nassau County it is a decision i gladly made to better my future. I definitely lived it up while i could during the school break, I traveled to Vegas a couple of times to visit a friend who moved there. I am motivated and excited to put forth my best effort here at Baruch college.
