Reflections

The most profitable app in 2020 was TikTok. Take a deeper dive into this app and outline
what problem it is solving. How did it get funding? What is its business model? Did it start with
the current idea or pivot? Can you find an old slide deck or pitch from its early years?

TikTok is somewhat solving the problem of increase creativity to be known by the public. TikTok gets funding from investors such as Tiger Global Management, Sequoi Capital China, SoftBank and General Atlantic and its business model is Create Social media. Tik Tok  did not start with the current idea , Founder Zhang first created ByteDance, his first mobile app in 2012. Later in 2016, he added the video sharing app to his first product.  I was not able to find an old slide deck or pitch from its early years.
