Hi my name is Joel Verghese, Im 18 years old and im an undergrad freshman here in Baruch. I have not decided for a major as of yet but I have been thinking of doing one of the science majors, Although Physics might be a good major to take just kidding. But really my desire lies in the science courses just in case you want to talk me out of it. I went to school overseas to india, thats where i got my highschool diploma and funny thing about that was all my classes were actually AP classes so basicly i went to hell five times a day and my teachers have that sort of effect on students that causes them to do their max, know what it means ‘Lots and Lots of homework’. But in any case i learned a lot from them. All my friends were basicly indian but thats fine with me. India turned out to be a real experience for me. It taught me that life is a shithole and everywhere you go it smells so it is one of the fundamentals of life. After it was all said and done, my parents brought me back and this was exactly a time o needed to choose a college but my dad is like NO, you’re going to Baruch. Im like why, dad says” Cuz its.cheap”, But i wasn’t sad about it, I finally realized that Baruch was the better college out of all CUNY colleges so i was mildly excited. So before my college started i decided to make a commitment that i would do better and work hard than i ever did in highschool in order to mould my ambition to be a reality. For this i have to thank my parents for supporting me all the way since i was child, they use to say “success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration” which got stuck on me. And also owe my gratitude to God for all the wisdom and guidance i received in India. Oh yeah, My favorite ambition is watching sports and not playing them for obvious reasons( IM A REALLY FAT GUY)

Hi my name is David Lamle. My nationality is Jamaican and Caucasian. My mom is christian and my dad, Jewish. The funny thing about this is neither religion managed to rub off on me. Anyway, I am an undergrad student at Baruch College as you probably already know….. but what most of you do not know is that I am planning to go for a finance major. One thing that you may find interesting about me is that I love to play sports. I have three sports I really love in particular, those being Track and Field, Football, and Basketball. I also love computers and other forms of technology. Anyway I don’t really know what else I want to say right now, so I guess this is it for the night, good night.

Which are these loans, and more importantly for our purposes here, how do they differ. While it is real that at times the two terms can be utilized as synonyms, in general there are really crucial distinctions between payday loans and money advances.
