Hello there

The photo I chose to be an accurate representation of my first three months is placed below this block of text. I chose this photo since it’s my troll face. The past 3 months here were nothing out of the ordinary and it was exactly what I expected Baruch to be which is somewhat enjoyable. Made some good friends and had some great times with them so far. Hopefully it gets even better from here, let the workload stay the same though, it’s manageable.funnyface

Focus 2

What have you learned about yourself through your self-assessments and how has this affected your choice of major and career goals?” What i learned form my self assessment was that I am destined to become  a physicist. I also learned that i need to drop Baruch asap and i need to make the move to City college.

“How do these results reflect a change from what you expected or planned for yourself previously?” This is exactly what i was expecting. I like the sciences more than i like any other subject and this just helped convince me that baruch might not be the right choice for me after all.

“How did participating in FOCUS 2 help you clarify a future direction for yourself? It helped me realize all the things i mentioned above. Crunching numbers over  a desk for hours on end is not what i want to be doing in my future.

Yoga Project

The reason I chose yoga as the topic of my New York Times project was because yoga has become very popular in recent years. It is being practiced by more people than ever before and it is also become a conflicting topic in some states like california. Yoga is also very popular in Baruch where a yoga club meeting is hosted every thursday in the student body’s game room. The actual project can be found in the following lines.

Music Preferences

This is the playlist i made  https://play.spotify.com/user/1267232039/playlist/2OHLNl4iGliKO6ADiBHC4F

These select few songs were chosen by me since their play count on my itunes was very high. I feel like a lot of these songs might even speak to me. The first song “as the rush comes” is a very relaxing song that describes life perfectly: Life goes on. “Smile” by Eyedea is another great song about getting over horrifying events and everything that’s wrong with the world. “Despite the wars founded by the rich, funded by the poor, kids barely eighteen are dying so billionaires can make more Elsewhere hungry mothers watch their babies stave to death in a beat up shack on the third floor.” This line probably describes the world perfectly. “The world is yours” and “I wanna be sedated” are classics; The Ramones are just great. “Sunshine” and “It was a good day” are songs I’ve enjoyed listening to on some of my best days. “How eye one the right to think” also speaks about the importance of critical thinking and making up your own opinion about anything. “Snow” by RHCP is another great relaxing song, RHCP is probably my favorite band of all time. “Slippin” by dmx is a song more about those darker days when you’re feeling down.
