I really don’t think that there is any one word or any few words that can describe me or shows who I really am. I’m everything. But most importantly i feel like I’m a strong and dedicated person. Things I do that I have a passion for especially motivates me to finish strong. Something that I’m really passionate about is sports and exercising in general. I’ve always loved playing sports especially basketball and handball. Staying fit is what gives me the confidence I have. There is nothing more I like than exercising. Besides being a dedicated person I am also a very positive and open-minded person. I don’t see any negative aspect in anything because I feel like there is always a solution. As in being criticized I’m open to criticisms mainly because I know that It will benefit me and just make me a better person in general. Moving on from high school to college didn’t change the person i’ve been all my life. I came to baruch college to succeed and further on my career and i plan to start well and finish strong. I think in general I’m a pretty chill person. I’m a good friend as others always tell me and I’m willing to be there every time my friends need me. I’m always down to have fun. So if y’all want to chill just hit me up. Things I enjoy a lot is handball and basketball as i mentioned earlier. I also enjoy going to the gym to workout. Working out with my friends and playing ball afterwards is usually a perfect day for me during the summer time.
Besides graduating high school that i felt was an accomplishment, one of the most important and memorable times i had in high school was with my girlfriend, Christie Lai. we met in the spring of freshmen year in high school and from then we became really close friends. however in the fall of senior year everything changed, i asked her out and she became my girlfriend! you can say thats the most exciting thing that has happened to me in high school. I love my girlfriend and although we’re in different colleges now we still get together once a week just to hangout and see each other. college has been really hard cause i miss her a lot but I’m really happy to have her as my girlfriend and I feel like the Luckiest guy ever.
AND THATS MY GIRLFRIEND!! I love her a lot and I wouldn’t be who I am now without her. She constantly supports me and gives me that extra strength to accomplish things I strive for. She has become the most important person in my life.

I’m Gabriella Roytman, but most of my friends call me Gab or Gabby. I chose to create a playlist, but for some reason the website I used is not working, so I will link you to each song on youtube, and explain why it I love it so much. The first song is by the Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, who has the most beautiful voice in the world. The song is called “Wanderlust“, a feeling that I can absolutely relate to. It is about freedom and exploration, and being “in love with something bigger than love.” I love to travel and explore new places so this song definitley hits close to home. Next, is a song by PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake, called “Over here“. I honestly just really like the vibe of this song and the amazing mood it puts me in. Next is a song by Beach House called “Master of None“. This song is so beautiful. “Jack of all trades, master of none.” I think that quote really describes the place I am right now in life: trying many new things, but not yet picking one to “master.” Next is a song by Belle & Sebastian called “The Boy With the Arab Strap.” The lyrics “color my life with the chaos of trouble, ’cause anything’s better than posh isolation” are also something I can relate to. I do not want to live a life in “dank submission” as Bukowski would say. Anything but ordinary please, which brings me to my next song by Avril Lavigne called just that.. “Anything But Ordinary” The next is one of my favorite songs of all time, by Modest Mouse called “Float on.” It is a song about carrying on through the toughest times. “Even if things end up a bit too heavy, we’ll all float on.” I think that really captures my essence, for I am a firm believer of never giving up. In fact this song has been an inspiration through some of the toughest times in my life. The next three songs are just a few mellow jams that my friends and I like to sing along to when we hang. Although their lyrics are not incredibly relatable to me, these are the songs I have made some amazing memories to, and every time I listen to them, they take me back to those amazing times: “Everybody“, “Stolen Car“, and “Hotel California“. Finally the last song, is by Empire of the Sun, and is my favorite song of all time. “Walking on a Dream” basically sums up my life. “Searching for the thrill of it” is my motto. Life is about finding fun in everyday, and living to the fullest. “All we got is tonight that is right till first light”; basically: CARPE DIEM.

Who do I think I am is a somewhat hard question for me because until this day, I’m still trying to find out who I really am. As many people have been telling me, I am a person with a mysterious personality. I have no clue on how they came up with this and I found this to be quite funny. However, I consider myself as a happy person with full of positivism, for the most part.
I am a slideshow, click me!!!:
http://slide.ly/view/80f163d4938b66622d4935f0e34c39db
Most of the images in my slide show come from the internet that I saved to my phone whenever I see pictures I like. The very first picture is a little girl holding a balloon with the caption “There’s always hope”. Isn’t this a great picture with full of positivism? I think everyone needs to have hope in order to accomplish whatever he or she wants to achieve on. If you don’t have the hope, then how would anyone have the motivation to do anything? The second picture has the same concept that says “What a wonderful world”, even though this world is not perfect but still, there are still things that make it a wonderful world. The third picture is one of my favorites. I like this one a lot because I like making people laugh. I know I’m not the most humorous person out there but I still like to make people laugh, because being able to put a smile on people’s face would make me happy too. Desserts are my favorites which is why I always take pictures of pretty desserts and eating desserts can turn a bad day into a good day. I don’t see why people don’t like desserts. The next picture is cliff jumping which is something crazy that I always want to try. Sometimes I just really want to do something that’s recklessly fun, I mean, YOLO right? There are two more pictures that have something to do with the nature, sunset and central park. I love nature. They are such beautiful scenarios and they always help me to release stress. Finally, I have included a picture of me and my best friends whom are basically my family. I love them to death because they accept me for who I am, someone that’s careless, bad tempered and self absorbed. This sums up the blog entry. I hope by now you would understand a little more about me, as I’m not even sure of who I am.

These picture and audio shows what I’m about. This audio is what I listen to while waking up in the morning because it help motivate me to wake up early in the morning. I will usually go down to my gym and start the day with some workout. Shower is my favorite time of the day, where I can have sometime to myself. Then, I dress up and get ready for the day. My class starts early in the morning, and usually after school I will be in the library finishing up my work and prepare myself for the next day to 8 or 9P.m. I will end my day with a big meal, so my stomach is sated before falling asleep. The next day the cycle starts all over again, and that my friend is the life of Jason Chen.

Sup guys :).A little bit about myself.. I enjoy a variety of sports that includes: swimming, street handball, biking, and gaming.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RubBzkZzpUA
Song Name: Started From The Bottom by Drake.
The song above partially describes my education side of life…I’ve attended and graduated from John Dewey High School(a school viewed as an underachieving high school with a surprisingly low graduation rate by the mayor and DOE). I’ve started from the bottom(graduating from a not so good HS and being able to attend Baruch College(a college I’ve wanted to go to) and to further study my majors(Business accounting/finance).
Handball is one of my favorite sports because the game itself is rather complicated. The main goal of handball is to aim precisely for the ball and return the ball coordinately to the wall. The sport may look easy but is surprisingly hard to engage upon. I enjoy playing handball in the summer with my friends. The game can be played solo, two players, or four players with basically small risk factors. It’s extremely easy to play handball because most public parks contain at least one handball court. Having Fun And Excercising
Swimming is really difficult(I’m not even joking). I started learning how to swim at the age of 12(my parents forced me to) and began to fall in love with swimming after learning how to swim. My favorite stroke is freestyle because the most energy required in swimming is an technique called freestyle in which both our hands are in constant motion along with our legs, the body must align itself to the water surface for maximum proficiency. The reason I like swimming is because of the coolness of the water circulating around my body and once my goggles gathers moisture, my vision becomes blurry in which excites me because I have no clue when I’m about to stop or not. The feeling of swimming and barely seeing anything ahead of me is extremely nice. I used to swim everyday in this fitness gym called “Bally” and the sport itself helped tone down my body. After watching Michael Phelps win the Olympics in 2012, I’ve began to swim more often and idolize Michael Phelps into my swimming routine.League Of Legends
League of Legends is a MOBA(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). The game itself is quite popular among teenagers specifically. The community is extremely bad and toxic meaning people in game will be experiencing negative attitudes and demoralizing other players even if they are in the same team. I like playing this game a lot because everything is free, meaning I don’t have to spend a single penny to be equal to other players unless for decorative purposes. The game is highly strategical and requires attention to certain parts of the game and champions itself. A lot of my friends also play this game and I was introduced to this game back in high school and couldn’t stop playing it ever since. A normal game ill last at least 20 minutes up to 1 hour depending on strategical team fights, consisting of five players on each team. I had a lot of fun playing this game and to also watch other professional players play as well.
Biking is also one of my favorite sports because it’s thrilling and dangerous at the same time. During busy traffics I enjoy biking along the middle of the road in between cars because some drivers tend to open their car doors without analyzing their environments in which causes bikers to accidentally collide with the car doors. Biking allows me to travel to somewhere far away without having to worry about paying for public transportation. Biking also helped me tone my legs during the summer(including a nice tan). I enjoy feeling the wind and having to empty my mind while cycling to enjoy the scenery before me 😀
My life is pretty simple, growing up in a Asian family, I’m taught to respect my elders and care for my fellow brothers and sisters. Every weekend I would go outside and dine with my family at different Chinese Restaurants to gather and talk of what’s happening during our weekdays. My favorite sports are limited to the weather except for swimming which is indoor sport. I enjoy travelling to different places with my bike. The joy of biking to someone far away from home thrills me because my senses sharpen at everything that’s new around me.

These are 8 pictures that I hope help my classmates learn the type of person I am. I started off with two pictures of my favorite sport and activity to do, this is golf. The third picture is a picture of the speed demon honda CRV from 2002. This is the car I do my crusin’ in, its no ferrari but it gets me where I have to go and I love it. My fourth picture is my favorite musician and that is Hoodie Allen. Nobody knew who he was like two years ago and he is finally getting big. I’m proud to say I’ve went to his concert twice and am going again November 29. My fifth and sixth pictures are my two favorite sports teams, however I took pictures of these teams on hats because it includes the fact that I collect hats. My goal is to get every team in the MLB I have 17 of 30 right now. Finally my eighth and final picture is of home sweet home, where I was born and raised Staten Island.
