College has been by far the most difficult process of my life thus far. I came in with the ambition of doing very well but like all student, have gradually become less and less motivated throughout the semester. During my midterms, I received some grades that really shocked me, and during group work I definitely cringed like yao ming in the photo. During my breaks I am always care free and when the semester starts I am always optimistic and ready to do well. Unfortunately that doesn’t stay very long.
Basically the psychology of what has happened to me is that the ambition of going into college and doing well always consumes me in the beginning, but that is just the product of my underestimation of the difficulty of the courses I would be taking. I guess things like this happen but it devalues my motivation in school, I hope next semester I’ll be able to do better.
