In order to show who I am, I decided to use photos. I am an avid Instagram user, so I think that an 8 image slideshow would be a very accurate depiction of who I am. I will describe each photo from the top left moving right and then going to the next row from the left and onward. Let’s begin.

The first photo was the last varsity field hockey cheer I participated in. Field hockey has been a pretty large aspect of my middle school and high school career. I got to meet a lot of people from my high school that I wouldn’t have normally talked to and got to know many people on outside teams during camp and competition.

The second photo was shot on a day that I was attending an orchestra concert. Before the concert, my friends and I were walking around when I spotted a group of pigeons. The pigeons were all up in the street blocking our way. Because of this, I decided I would chase them away.

The next photo was taken this past summer. My friends and I were touring Europe together. My favorite country we visited was Germany. We were in Berlin looking at all the historical locations and intriguing architecture. The Berlin Wall was probably one of the most interesting places we got to go to. A wall that was once a sign of oppression was now covered in paintings by all these different artists.

I recently walked the Brooklyn Bridge for the first time. I became a tourist that day and took picture of every possible angle of the bridge and the cityscape.

The fifth photo is a picture of me singing. In high school, I was in choir and A cappella. In FRO class, we were asked to tell everyone our motto. I’m not exactly sure I have one specific motto, but a major saying I go by is that “It is better to sing than be sighing.” Singing makes every situation better (that is a fact).

The sixth photo was another photo taken in Germany. My friend and I were taking a selfie in a quaint, little park with a pond, some gardens, and a wooden playground.  People were looking at us weirdly.

This is not a secret; I love food. This is bad because I think that Freshman 15 will definitely get the better of me this year. This photo is of a delicious Vietnamese sandwich I ate. Being in the city, I am enjoying trying different types of food.

The last photo was taken in Pennsylvania. I remember that I was spending some quality bonding time with my family. The sky was basically perfect that day, so I had to get a photo of it.

THE END.

  2. Try walking the BK Bridge at night! It’s 1000x cooler than it already is during the day.
