You may have noticed that I was not able to take my midterms exam yesterday. I would like to inform you that I fell extremely ill, and had to visit the doctor yesterday. I was diagnosed with food poisoning that made me unable to function properly, however I should be good in three days. I want to ask you to give me a chance to take this exams after these three days, I have all the proper medical documentation if needed. I understand that this decision is completely up to you, so I will follow whatever works out for you.

My group decided to use business as the main theme of our front page. This was done because Baruch is known to everybody as a mainly business oriented school. However, business is not only Baruch it is all around us and plays a vital role in our economy. That is why we discussed the importance of ethics in business, business in fashion industry, financial aspects of college sports, and the business of the movie industry.

I learned a lot of from my New York Times article. The importance of ethics in business was always important to me but I had no real insight before. This article showed me a view on how our economic system is not necessarily “fair”, because those at the higher levels of status get unfair advantage of those that are of lower status.
