New York Times “Front Page” Project BLOG Post #2 Sean O’Brien

1. the process of sharing our project was somewhat simple. we all presented on our own articles and i feel we all did well.

2. this experience was a very comforting one. in the past i have had problems speaking to large groups and this projects helped me to feel more comfortable.

3. from this presentation i learned that i can handle public speaking if i actually know what i am talking about.

4. my peers also presented their articles one by one, person by person. this was defiantly the best way to do so.

5. the experience of watching my peers present was also a very good one, they all presented well and i learned a lot about their topics.

6. from my peers presentation i learned that the class is filled with good public speakers and i also learned a lot about their specific topics.

HTC is falling under and as history shows, it is almost impossible to come back from this quarterly loss

The slide show begins with a picture of my godfather and I. this picture was taken in Virginia while i was there for a baseball tournement. this photo is followed by 2 photos of my hometown, Astoria, queens.  Growing up here has been the best thing to happen to me. Next up are some photos of my family. My family has always been there for me and I appreciate it very much. The pictures with the older gentleman are of my recently deceased grandfather and I. Next up are some photos of my friends and I. I have a very large group of friends that all are there for me whenever I need anything. Then there are 2 baseball related photos. The first is a team photo of my highschool team in 2011. This team made the PSAL quarter finals. The next photo is one taken from the NY Daily News when i was featured in an article. The last photo is a peice of my sneaker collection. I have been buying shoes for a while now and have racked up a pretty serious collection.
