The enrichment workshop was pretty inspiring. Throughout its entirety, I thought to myself, “maybe I can be a leader!”. By providing great examples of leadership through the stories of the developers of the Brooklyn Bridge and one of our best presidents, Abraham Lincoln, I figured out good methods of becoming a leader myself. I’ve had leadership experience before, (i.e. captain of the high school cross country team and 4-year peer tutor) however I did not know how to transition that experience into my college career, until the workshop introduced some awesome clubs I could participate in. Because of this, I know am now a participant of IVCF (Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship) and intend on becoming a part of the business fraternity DSP (Delta Sigma Pi). The enrichment workshop inspired me by becoming a part of something bigger in Baruch, and I’m grateful for it.
