My First Semester at Baruch
My first semester at Baruch has been–in one word–tiring. Surprisingly enough, the workload hasn’t been too terrible though. In the beginning, I was strongly considering transferring schools and trying to decide whether or not to stay became a very stressful everyday conflict. I’m glad that I decided to dorm rather than commuting from Long Island everyday, but even so, on the 15-20 minute subway ride home everyday I find my eyes closing and my mind wandering to netlix movies and my bed. Other than being sleep deprived and wanting nothing more than to go home and go to sleep every day after school, I have actually really enjoyed my first semester. Like this picture, my experience has been tiring, but also pleasant, (what’s more pleasant than a sleeping puppy)!? I’ve met really awesome people and have made good friends and I’m really looking forward to all that is to come–except for the loads of work and even more tiredness that i’ll have to face.
