The enrichment workshop at the Rubin Museum did not have much of an effect on me, probably due to the fact that I don’t care much for art. Unlike people who enjoy art, I’m not able to look at pictures in a different perspective and analyze it. Also, the small size of the gallery and lack of exhibits in the museum was a bit disappointing. I would have preferred to see artifacts rather than just pictures. The woman who explained the significance of each picture seemed liked she really enjoyed art and knew what she was talking about though. I personally liked the vintage picture of NYC because it showed how much things have changed over the time. I don’t remember much of the other pictures because it was so long ago. I hope the museum becomes a bit more diverse so I can go there again. Then, I might gain a new outlook on art and become inspired by it.
