To many strangers, and perhaps to my class mates, I may just be another blank face. I may be just another person that you strive to figure out but haven’t a clue. Perhaps I haven’t a clue as well. Isn’t the ultimate goal in life to find out who you are and what you stand for? If it is, I have a ways to go on that journey. I can only display a glimpse of what I think I am but couldn’t even attempt to conceive what others think of me. I believe that I am not just one thing, but an accumulation of things. I am made up of my environment, my loved ones, my past experiences, my hopes for the future, my spiritual beliefs etc. As I continue to go further in life I will be able to expand on this and will able to go deeper into the concept of who I really am, but for now, I hope this will help to exhibit a little bit about who I am.
My loved ones are almost entirely responsible for the person I have become today. Without them raising me and instilling in me certain morals and values, I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. Every one of my family members and friends are responsible for a certain allotment of either my characteristics, my attitude, my actions etc. Every encounter I have faced with them and every moment I have spent with them has help to build my character and always serves to teach me a new lesson. They have seen me encounter every new stage in my life so I would surely say that they are a part of who I am as a person.
Furthermore, I would say that my high school experience has certainly helped mold me into a young adult. When I first began high school I was the complete opposite of what I am now. I could have went down a totally distinct path than the one I am now. With the help of some great people and with a lot of encouragement, I was able to persevere and to learn from a very helpful experience.
I am a complex person and have yet to really figure myself out as of yet, but I believe that sometime in the future I will find my path and my purpose in life.
